About Us

Founded in July 2020 Crank To Cog is an independent Cytech accredited bicycle workshop based in St. Albans Hertfordshire  servicing the local community and surrounding towns. We provide technical expertise across all types of bicycle from children’s cycles through to commuter, race, mountain and e-bikes.

We can undertake most repairs across a broad range of technical disciplines from general cycle servicing to electronic gear change system updates; diagnosis and repair, mountain bike suspension overhauls, e-bike servicing and fault diagnosis, along with custom bike and wheel builds.

The workshop has attained Cytech accreditation, which ensures all work will be undertaken adhering to guidelines of the internationally recognised and industry approved bicycle training scheme for bicycle technicians.

We are members of the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) which is the largest cycle trade organisation in the UK and has been promoting cycling for over 100 years.
