Here at Crank to Cog we offer two main levels of service to choose from.

We are a Cytech e-Bike Technical trained and accredited workshop specialising in state of the art Shimano STEPS, Bosch eBIKE Systems and FAZUA Drive System, which power a range of electric bicycles from some of the best manufactures in the industry. As approved and factory trained Shimano, Bosch and Fazua dealers we can carry out complex diagnostic investigations and repairs using our in-house manufacturer supplied Diagnostic Tooling. We can perform Software and Firmware updates to bring your bicycle’s e-Bike drive systems up to the latest specifications and performance. We can also implement Warranty Repairs in line with factory guidelines and approval, with all parts sourced direct through our official factory B2B purchase portals. All parts supplied are UK market compliant and carry full factory warranty for peace of mind.

Carry out service wash.
Check frame for damage and signs of fatigue. Inspect saddle and seat pin security and torque fasteners. Check fitted accessories for function and fit.
Check headset, handlebar and stem assembly for wear and correct tightness to required torque settings.
Check chain set for wear and correct fastener torque. Check bottom bracket for wear (Hub Drive Systems). Lubricate chain. Check pedals for wear and fastener torque.
Inspect brake system for alignment, security and wear. Replace brake pads if required.
Inspect gear system and tune gearchange as required (external derailleur types).
Check wheel hubs for excessive play. Check tyre condition and inflate as necessary.
Check E Drive fasteners (where accessible) for motor and drive system for security and correct torque.
Check accessible electronic component and switchgear wiring for damage and security. Check wiring connectors for loose/contaminated fitting.
Strip headset to inspect clean and lubricate components. Replace headset bearings if required (non-integrated cockpits).
For adjustable wheel hub bearings adjust as required. Check wheel truing and adjust to required standard if possible (for externally accessible spoke nipples).
Adjust brake levers, cables and brake callipers as required.
Carry out e-Bike system diagnostic analysis and Software/Firmware update with appropriate factory Diagnostic Equipment.
